Dear Son – FINALLY a tip you can use!

#9 – Always look a person in the eye when you talk to them.

Boom.

Always.

Here’s the problem – this is not easy to do. It requires practice.

You have to be consciously aware of your place in a conversation.

Since people are so interesting, ask questions about them and really listen.

Women are so much better at this than men, but that doesn’t mean we are consigned to a life of meaningless conversations.

Maintain eye contact.

Don’t stare. Be active in the eye contact and ask questions.

Listen to the answers.

Conversations start with the eyes and most of what is said is non verbally communicated through them.
